Everyone’s favorite ball of walking angriness, the Demon Hunter, now has it’s 1.0.4 preview posted over on Diablo 3′s official blog.
And… it’s buffs across the board! Head on over and have a look.

Wow. It seems like 50% of posters cannot interpret what is meant by “75% weapon damage for 5 seconds” versus “715% weapon damage over 5 seconds” for the change on Rain of Vengeance. I much prefer the latter, as I think they should have inserted “each second” into the former’s description.
Also, DoTs always make me wonder what happens when they are used again before the duration runs out. Does it additively stack? Does it refresh the timer but lose the remainder of the first duration? Does it extend the duration of the effect? Some skills seem like they would naturally use one mechanic or another, but the developers can’t seem to be bothered to explicitly explain it somewhere most of the time.
Good questions about DOTs… Thus far, I’ve never really worried about clipping spells short, but I have wondered how much DPS I am missing (if any) by doing so. This is just the sort of thing they should put in the advanced section of the Game Guide.
