Fanatical, Fearsome – Demon Hunter. They number in the hundreds, secluded from the world in the distant Dreadlands. A once-beautiful place forever changed by some great calamity in its’ history now lies the remains of ruined cities and bleak landscapes. No place for any living thing, though still the home of a group perhaps too terrifying for any kingdom to harbor within their boarders.

Unlike all other groups, they are not chosen from birth; they are not born into their society to preform the task- they are born of bloodshed and strife. To survive a demon attack; to be the only to survive takes a quality of strength that is not learned and is not freely given. In the midst of the chaos of the world only a scant few ever manage to fill their ranks. Running and hiding for days from a village burned to the ground by demons- to be discovered by a Demon Hunter as a survivor of such nightmares is the only entrance to their order.

No more than 20 years of age, this warrior does not use sword nor axe. With the whistling sound of a quarrel, the clang of metal traps, or the burning hatred searing your flesh from their crossbow you may be dead before you ever realize from whence it came. The strength possessed by this champion is strong enough to resist the taint that would drive a normal man mad. That strength affords them the powers of a demon to be used as a weapon against any and all of the burning hells. Through their observations of the world as it really is, they may very well possess greater knowledge of the grander scheme than any other- and with their deadly purpose with singular vision, they relent through all seeking vengeance against all of the denizens of the burning hells.
