South of the Kingdoms of the West, in the Twin Seas, can be found the Islands of Skovos; Philios, Lycander, Skovos, and Skartara. Led by the strong warrior caste of Amazon women and the mystic oracles, the Isles’ Askari civilization has long been a matriarchy; one in which men have a lesser voice and are barred from the highest offices. The two Askari queens, one from the oracle caste and the other from the warriors, rule their island monarchy in partnership.

The islands themselves are covered in lush jungles throughout which the Askari have constructed their magnificent cities. The expanse of jungle only reluctantly cedes its domination of the island’s geography on the slopes of Mount Karcheus.

The people of the Skovos Isles are also accomplished seafarers, and have trade links with both the Western Kingdoms and Kehjistan to the east.

The Isles were also the birthplace of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye, a mysterious guild of female warrior-archers, who struck out across the world many years ago.
